Mugica (Vizcaya)

It is a 130.000 m2 forest ground in which there was a pine timber plantation. The former owners planned to remove it and introduce eucalyptus, trees more economically viable for them. The purchase has cost 46.843 €.

But what we pretend is to plant a beech forest together with “Fundación Lurgaia” that owns adjoining lands and also is going to be in charge of the custody of our new ground.

It is our intention to convert this área into a native forest together with the lands of the collaborator foundation. What is more, and thanks to the area´s rainfall, we are sure that it will be an extraordinary forest

We send you attached some pictures to see the ground and the first plantations which are currently being made and a photo of the adjoining area to appreciate how great it looked in June.
